Special Updates
OmniSalud Plan Year 2027 Updates
Important changes for OmniSalud SilverEnhanced Savings (SES) in 2027:
- Approximately 6,700 customers will receive OmniSalud SES financial help in Plan Year 2027.
- SES will not renew automatically. Current SES customers must complete their enrollment between November 1 and November 30, 2026 to keep their reserved spot and financial assistance.
- Beginning in 2027, SES customers will pay a $15 monthly premium per enrolled household member.
- Eligible OmniSalud customers who do not currently receive SES may enter the free OmniSalud Lottery from November 1 through November 30, 2026.
- Any available SES spots will be assigned through a random lottery on December 1, 2026.
- Customers selected through the lottery must enroll by January 15, 2027. Enroll by December 31, 2026 for coverage starting January 1, 2027. Enroll between January 1 and January 15, 2027 for coverage starting February 1, 2027.
- Entering the lottery does not guarantee receipt of SES financial assistance.
Take action early to keep or apply for financial help and avoid gaps in coverage.
Changes are Coming to Colorado Medicaid!
New federal rules will affect some adults ages 19 to 64 and some immigrants who get Health First Colorado or Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+).
You are likely not affected if you are:
- A child (0 to 18)
- An adult age 65 or older
- A current member who was pregnant within the last 12 months, or is currently pregnant
- Enrolled in long-term services and supports (LTSS) or buy-in programs
