Promotor/a de Salud
The Promotor/a is a care coordinator and grassroots community health educator, targeting the Spanish-speaking community. Coordinates care for Grand and Jackson County residents to support access to care and reduce barriers to health. Outreach to Grand and Jackson County Medicaid clients identified as high need or high risk for medical or behavioral health needs and/or social determinants of health. The Promotor/a is responsible for being aware of the health and general needs of our community.
The Promotor/a ensures individuals and families in our community are connected to resources, services, and the overall community. Other responsibilities include: identifies community needs, raises awareness of social determinants of health issues identified by the community (e.g. affordable housing, mental health, preventive health, transportation, etc.); participates in the development, communication, implementation and expansion of community education and access programs.
Qualifications: Bilingual English/Spanish required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or minimum 1 year work experience in communications, health, human services, insurance industry, or other relevant field such as communications, community outreach, or marketing. 1+ years’ experience working directly with the Hispanic Community.
Requirements: Valid Colorado driver’s license and reliable vehicle (mileage will be reimbursed for work-related travel). Fluent bilingual English-Spanish language ability is required, bi-cultural preferred.

Bilingual Health Coverage Guide – Application window closed 10/19/26
The Bilingual Health Coverage Guide serves as a Certified Health Coverage Assister to provide objective outreach, education, and assistance to individuals, families and businesses, empowering customers to make health coverage decisions, increase awareness about health coverage options and support enrollment through Connect for Health Colorado, the online health insurance marketplace. Attends training and attains annual certification required by Connect for Health Colorado* (C4HCO). Works collaboratively with a variety of community partners to ensure equitable access in Grand and Jackson Counties for English and Spanish speakers.
Qualifications: Bilingual English/Spanish required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or minimum 1 year work experience in communications, health, human services, insurance industry, or other relevant field such as communications, community outreach, or marketing. 1+ years’ experience working directly with the Hispanic Community.
Experience with health and human services, prefer direct experience with public assistance programs. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills. Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office and web-based platforms. Only self-directed and motivated individuals need apply.
