Our Core Competencies
The Rural Health Network works to align daily work with organizational vision. To do this, we have a set of core competencies. These core competencies outline the mindset of the organization and individuals in the organization to do our good work as a team. People interested in joining our team should either have mindsets that align with these core competencies, or be willing to learn them during onboarding and continuing education while employed at the Network

ACHES & PAINS Programs: You need healthcare and support. We can help with the aches & pains of getting it. We offer vouchers for physical, dental, and mental health services, prescriptions, and other support like gas and hotels for health appointments.
Patient Navigator Program: You feel overwhelmed and confused by the healthcare system. We can help you navigate it. Maneuvering through the healthcare system is challenging. You don’t have to do it alone! Take the stress out of navigating the health system and call us. Our team meets you where you are in Grand and Jackson counties to get you the right care, at the right time, and the right place.
Health Coverage Guide: You need health insurance. We can help you make sense of it. Our Certified Health Coverage Guide assists you in understanding your insurance options based on your individual situation. Our Health Coverage Guide meets you where convenient for you in Grand and Jackson counties and can help you enroll in a health coverage plan and financial assistance.
