How do Promotoras help?
Promotor/as de Salud help Spanish-speaking clients to access health care, coverage, education, and community resources. We can help with everything from finding healthcare providers, assistance filling out applications and understanding benefits, to coordinating transportation to appointments.
We help clients build confidence and knowledge to help individuals and caregivers become more comfortable accessing resources and managing health independently. We work one-on-one with clients to define their health-related needs and goals. We help identify things that make it more difficult to have individual and family needs met.
