Voucher program applications are available at most Grand County medical, dental, and mental health providers, who can pre-screen you to see if you qualify. Depending on the type of voucher you need, vouchers are for people without insurance or who are under-insured (for mental health needs only.) Applications must be completed before your appointment.

To see if your income qualifies for vouchers, check this chart.

Once your application is complete, your provider will request a voucher for your appointment(s). Your provider will send the bill directly to the Grand County Rural Health Network for payment.

To see if you qualify or to learn more, contact your local provider, school nurse, or Grand County Rural Health Network at vouchers@gcruralhealth.org or by calling: 970-725-3477.

Because of the voucher program, I could see a therapist again after a traumatic incident. I’m uninsured, so I couldn’t have afforded it otherwise. Thank you!

“While the (voucher) program was meant to be temporary, I do not see a healthy future for Grand County without this gap program.”
