Recovery Coordination Program
We are here to help!
Our FREE services can help with anything that limits you from getting the care you need when you need it.
How do Recovery Coordinators Help?
Our Recovery Coordination team provides individual, group, and community support for those affected by substance use, and their friends and family. Through the program, participants are empowered with recovery resources and encouraged to stay engaged for long-term recovery. Friends and family can learn coping strategies, connect to resources and community, and understand how to support recovery and care plans.
Relationships are built on evidence-based recovery practices, principles, and beliefs. Participants discover and create their personal pathway to recovery and get help with navigating complicated systems.
Our Recovery Coordinators are Certified Peer and Family Specialists (CPFS) and are trained in Trauma Informed Care and Intentional Peer Support. This makes peers especially effective at:
- Providing non-judgmental personal support and advocacy
- Helping individuals know when and where to seek help
- Supporting self-management and development of coping skills
- Empowering an individual in recovery to maintain a healthy lifestyle

Activities, Events, and Community Engagement
Our team organizes, facilitates, and attends a wide variety of mental health and recovery support activities and sober-friendly events. These activities foster connection and community, and can be found on our events calendar, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.
The Recovery Coordination team collaborates with the Community IMPACT Team, Behavioral Health Strategic Plan Committee, local partners, and regional stakeholders to reduce stigma and increase education about mental health and substance use prevention and recovery. Ongoing community efforts include harm reduction education courses (e.g. fentanyl education) and creating Sober Choice spaces at community events.
We also help connect employers to resources such as the Recovery Friendly Workplace Initiative and Culinary Hospitality Outreach Wellness (CHOW) programs.
