In the absence of a centralized community care clinic, Grand County Rural Health Network (GCRHN) developed a health care voucher program to help meet the health needs of low-income (needs new verbiage), uninsured residents of Grand County. Vouchers can provide primary care visits, mental health visits, and prescription assistance, plus well-child exams and dental visits for children.
These voucher programs are funded solely through local grants and donations, and are provided in partnership with Grand County Public Health. GCRHN and Public Health continuously work with the community to determine a collaborative, comprehensive community-health system for the uninsured, low-income population of Grand County.
