Welcome Aboard Anita Rome!

Mar 19, 2021 | Health Care

We’re excited to announce that Anita Rome started as a care coordinator for the Rural Health Network February of 2021! We wanted to tell you a little bit about Anita…

She grew up in a small town in Minnesota. In the beginning of 2016, she moved to Grand County with her family where they have been become a part of the mountain community. She received her B.A. in History from Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa in 1996. In May of 2020, she graduated from Metropolitan State University Denver with a B.S. in Lifestyle Medicine. Through coursework and volunteer opportunities, Anita has led free community cooking classes at the Mountain Family Center. She also created and presented a stress management community workshop. Combining community support with individual self-efficacy in making positive lifestyle changes is a passion of hers. As a care coordinator, she is excited to connect with the community in a very useful and tangible way that feeds this passion.

We are very lucky to have Anita on our team!
