2022 Award for Excellence in Healthcare Nominees

Middle Park Medical Center Physical Therapists

Middle Park Health’s Physical Therapists
The Rehabilitation team at Middle Park Health is a tight-knit group of therapists who set the bar for patient care excellence. They acknowledge that each patient is unique, and they tailor their treatment to incorporate individual goals with professionalism and superior collaboration with the medical team.  95% of our patients would recommend our services to others, so we feel our approach works!

Spread throughout the community with clinics in Fraser, Granby, Kremmling, and Walden, the entire team is skilled at treating both inpatients and outpatients allowing excellent continuity of care. As providers in a rural setting, collectively our team can treat almost anything that comes into our clinic with each provider specializing in their own unique niche such as pelvic floor therapy, dry needling, concussion rehab, vestibular rehab, and sports rehab- to name a few.

It’s an honor to serve this wonderful community and we are humbled by this recognition.

Melvin Duran

Melvin Duran
Melvin came to the U.S. from Puerto Rico and has been living in Grand County for more than 4 years. He is a hard-working frontline employee, holding not one, but two full-time jobs (one at the Shell gas station in Fraser from 5:30 am–1:30 pm and another at City Market in
Granby from 2:30–11 pm). That’s more than 80 hours per week!

He works to make money to build a house back home.  He is having the house built so that his mother will have a place away from “the aunties” (all her sisters) and where he can stay when he visits his mom once a year.

If you search for Melvin Duran on YouTube, you’ll find that he was a contestant in the 2013 Idol Puerto Rico, and if you listen, you’ll hear that he has an amazing voice!

The person who nominated Melvin said, “Not only has Melvin put his health on the line during the pandemic and made sacrifices to his health, but he puts his family first.”
